expenses of living in nyc- loss of peace of mind and my tendency to spend is gone.

What with me and my husband working we should have enough to survive in nyc
but the cost of our housing terrifies me and suddenly when I am in a department store the idea of spending just 50.00 on a trenchcoat scares me. Which explains why I walked out of Century 21 emptyhanded after 3 hours spent there because I was waiting for my car repair.
I just emailed my sister and asked her if she had a short black one (old) I could borrow and she said yes.
so that saved me 50.00. Yay.


I do however have to get a black bra for this affair I need to go to next weekend and I am going to use my Victorias Secret coupon if I can find it and if it is still valid to get 10.00 off at least.
I forgot to go to Kohls today to look for this bra. Didnt realize this affair black tie was next weekend drat.

Since signing on the contract, I have felt like Lady Macbeth a trapped woman unable to enjoy retail ever again. However I do glimpse my husband still enjoying retail. I think he is more secure with the purchase than I am. I am kinda a worrywart but a careful one.
